Karnataka has its first floating bridge at Malpe Beach and it will become great potential to draw the attention of the tourists. According to the reports, MLA K Raghupathi Bhat inaugurated the floating bridge and stated that the tourists need to wear life jackets to visit the spot. He added that 20 to 25 lifeguards will be deployed at the bridge to prevent unwanted situations. He expressed confidence that this new floating bridge will enhance tourism in Udipi and grab the attention of tourists. He further added that all preventive measures are taken up. The bridge jas 100m in length and 3.5m in width and was constructed with Rs 80 lakh.
