Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy paid a visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his house in Delhi on Tuesday. During the meeting, the Andhra CM presented the Prime Minister with a frame depicting Lord Tirupati Balaji. CM Jagan is said to have requested the funds at the meeting, which lasted around 1 hour and 10 minutes, while highlighting state development concerns like the Polavaram project and other social programmes that are now being executed. The meeting was also said to have observed the recent addition of new districts in the state, which necessitated the deployment of more IAS and IPS personnel in the new districts. According to reports, CM Jagan has asked for assistance in establishing Navodaya Vidyalayas and medical colleges in each district.
