Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and his wife Shobha Rao visited the Mahalakshmi temple in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. According to the reports, CM KCR and his wife reached Maharashtra in a special flight and visited the Mahalakshmi temple in the afternoon. Temple priests welcomed KCR's family as per the tradition. Later, CM KCR and his family members offered special prayers to the Goddess Mahalakshmi. It is learned that CM KCR will return to Hyderabad in the evening. Kolhapur's Mahalakshmi temple is the seventh Shakti Peetam and lakhs of devotees pay a visit to this temple every year.
