In celebration of Telangana National Integration Day, the Congress party made a big statement on Sunday evening with a massive rally in Tukkuguda, Telangana. During the event, Sonia Gandhi, the former Congress Chief, announced six important commitments for the upcoming Telangana assembly elections. Sonia Gandhi said, "To make the dreams of the people of Telangana come true, we (Congress) are making six guarantees, and we promise to fulfill each one of them." As part of these promises, Sonia Gandhi revealed, "We will provide financial assistance of Rs 2,500 per month to women in Telangana through the Mahalakshmi scheme. Gas cylinders will be available at just Rs 500, and women will enjoy free travel on TSRC buses all across the state." These commitments are aimed at fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the people of Telangana. She went on to share her vision, saying, "I dream of a Congress government in Telangana that will work tirelessly for every section of society.
