The Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Andhra Pradesh, Sanjay, has revealed that the Skill Development Corporation was established without obtaining the necessary Cabinet approval. He pointed out that the proper procedures and rules were not followed during its formation. Additionally, the responsibility for the corporation was entrusted to a private individual named Ganta Subba Rao, who was given three key roles. Sanjay further explained that the setup of the Skill Development Corporation was designed in a way that allowed direct contact with the then Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu. Chandrababu Naidu had reportedly signed various Government Orders (GOs), including those related to the budget and council meetings, a total of 13 times. Moreover, Sanjay highlighted that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for engaging Siemens in the establishment of skill centers did not mention this arrangement. He suggested that the agreement with Siemens may have been made with improper intentions.
