Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to participate in the Telangana 'liberation day' celebration on September 17, according to Union Minister G Kishan Reddy's announcement on Tuesday. The event will be hosted by the Central government at the Parade Ground. On September 17, 1948, the Hyderabad State merged with the Indian Union. Last year, the Central government organized an official function to commemorate this historic day, which was graced by Amit Shah. As per reports, Amit Shah will arrive in Hyderabad on the night of September 16. On September 17, he will address a large gathering of people at the Parade Ground. His speech is expected to boost the confidence of the party members in preparation for the upcoming Assembly elections. Before this event, Amit Shah visited Chevella and Khammam in Telangana, where he critiqued the governance of Chief Minister KCR. It remains to be seen whom he will focus on during this visit.
