TDP MLC Panchumarthi Anuradha strongly criticized the arrest of TDP chief Chandrababu, considering it a dark day for democracy. Speaking to the media on Monday, she cautioned that with each YCP administration, turmoil and chaos ensued. Anuradha suggested that the 151-seat YSRCP had metaphorically dug itself into a 151-foot pit with Chandrababu's arrest. She expressed her dismay at Minister Ambati Rambabu's angry outbursts, especially given his lack of knowledge about the Polavaram project's gate count. She found it regrettable that Ambati was quick to discredit Chandrababu, who had successfully overseen 72 percent of the Polavaram project. Anuradha also raised concerns about Ambati's comments appearing disrespectful to the judiciary, despite the High Court's ruling that there was no insider trading in Amaravati.
