In a recent statement, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Manoj Jha strongly criticized the government led by Jagan Mohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh for the arrest of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. Jha stated that this marks a concerning new trend in Indian politics, where extreme measures are taken against political opponents. Jha expressed his concerns, saying, "A new trend has emerged in our country where political differences lead to extreme actions. Chandrababu Naidu is not just a former chief minister but has played a significant role in shaping modern Andhra Pradesh." He further commented that Jagan Mohan Reddy may have learned such tactics from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. However, Jha cautioned that such actions do not typically have a lasting impact.
