Vijayawada: TDP chief Chandrababu's arrest has ignited a political firestorm in Andhra Pradesh. Currently, he is en route from Nandyala to Vijayawada by road, traveling in a convoy of vehicles. Simultaneously, AP CID Additional DG Sanjay addressed a press conference regarding this arrest, shedding light on the circumstances. Sanjay stated that Chandrababu was taken into custody at the RK function hall in Nandyala at 6 a.m. He asserted that the former Chief Minister is the primary accused in the skill development scam, which has resulted in a government loss of Rs. 371 crores. According to Sanjay, this money was funneled into shell companies through fraudulent means, and agreements were executed only at Chandrababu's behest.
