Anakapalli: In a dramatic turn of events, a massive king cobra was apprehended in M. Koduru, Anakapalli district, after it invaded a local chicken farm. Farmer Elamanchili Ramesh, vigilant about the threat to his poultry, quickly alerted expert snake catcher Venkatesh. Venkatesh skillfully captured the king cobra within 20 minutes, averting a potential disaster. To ensure the safety of both the community and the snake, the captured reptile was released in a nearby forest area near Vantlamamidi, Alluri Sitaramaraju district, allowing it to return to its natural habitat.
