Bapatla: A heart-wrenching road accident took place in Bapatla district when an autorickshaw collided with a lorry at Santamangulur, resulting in the tragic loss of five lives. This devastating incident unfolded in the vicinity of the Government High School during the early hours of Sunday morning. According to preliminary reports, a group of individuals, identified as a dance party group from Narasaraopet, was en route from Vinukonda to Narasaraopet when the accident transpired. Regrettably, upon reaching Santamangulur, their autorickshaw collided with a lorry, leading to the immediate demise of three individuals, while several others sustained injuries. Currently, three of the injured are still receiving medical treatment.
