Anakapalli: Former minister and senior TDP leader, Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu, faced a brief arrest by the police. However, TDP supporters intervened, blocking the vehicles transporting him near the Vempadu toll plaza in Anacapalli district. Consequently, the police released Ayyanna, who then relocated to a nearby highway hotel. In the aftermath of Ayyannapatrudu's arrest, TDP leadership expressed their outrage, warning of potential private legal action against the arresting officers. They are upset that these actions may be targeting the prominent BC leader who has been vocal in the state. Accusing the government of pursuing party-building activities through unlawful arrests, former MLAs Palla Srinivas and Gandi Babji also joined in protest.e2
