Hyderabad: A Pakistani national, Mohammed Faiz, was arrested in Hyderabad for illegally entering India to meet his pregnant wife. Faiz, originally from Swat Valley in Pakistan, allegedly crossed the Nepal border to reunite with his spouse in Hyderabad. He had been staying unlawfully for a month, reportedly aided by his in-laws. Faiz, employed in Dubai, married a woman from Hyderabad in 2019 and has a three-year-old son. The woman's family apparently arranged a fake birth certificate and tried to get an Aadhaar card in his name. Police seized his Pakistani passport and documents, while Faiz's in-laws are said to be on the run.
