Srisailam: In a horrifying incident, a massive fire erupted in Srisailam, originating at Lalithambika's store in the L Block complex past midnight on Wednesday. The blaze rapidly engulfed around 15 adjacent shops. Promptly notified, firefighters swiftly arrived, successfully containing the fire. Additional relief efforts were also enacted. The Executive Officer of Srisailam Devasthanam arrived on-site to assess the situation. Preliminary estimates by officials suggest property damages potentially amounting to Rs. 2 crores. A short circuit is suspected as the possible cause behind the fire outbreak. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
