In a recent development, yet another cheetah has been captured in a cage along the Tirumala Alipiri road. This marks the third cheetah trapped in such a manner, drawing attention to the growing issue. Forest department officials took action by placing cages at mile number seven, and it was at this location that the latest cheetah was caught. This step follows a recent incident involving a leopard attacking a girl, prompting the forest department to take preventive measures. To enhance safety, bonfires have been set up at various points along the Alipiri footpath. These measures aim to deter wild animals from venturing too close to human areas. This latest capture comes after two cheetahs were previously caught in similar setups.
