Actor Prakash Raj recently came under fire for a post related to India's Moon mission, Chandrayaan-3. Shared on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Raj's post showcased an old cartoon of a man pouring tea, which many perceived as mocking the mission. Responding to the criticism, the 58-year-old actor stated that the cartoon was an "Armstrong era joke" related to Kerala. Social media users were quick to label the post as insensitive, urging the actor to respect the scientists behind India's landmark Moon endeavor. It's worth noting that Prakash Raj has been an outspoken critic of the current Indian government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He previously ran for a seat in the 2019 Indian general elections as an independent but was not elected. On a related note, Chandrayaan-3 was successfully launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre on July 14 and reached lunar orbit by August 5. It is scheduled for a soft lunar landing on August 23.
