The much-awaited film 'Bedurulanka 2012' starring Kartikeya Gummakonda is set to hit theaters on August 25. Today's trailer release gives fans a glimpse of the storyline set on an island called Bedurulanka in 2012. In the film, Kartikeya plays a character who stands by his principles. He's shown saying, "I can't do something I don't believe in. It's about self-respect, not ego." His character, after coming back from a city, clashes with two proud characters portrayed by Goparaju Ramana and Ajay Ghosh. Later, Ghosh teams up with Srikanth Iyengar and 'Auto' Ram Prasad to trick the innocent villagers. Neha Shetty, known for ‘DJ Tillu’, appears in a romantic-comedy role in the film. Other cast members include Satya, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, Vennela Kishore (playing a news presenter with 'Getup' Srinu), and LB Sriram (playing an elder with wisdom). Producer Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni, who previously won a National Award for ‘Colour Photo’, brings this film to audiences, presented by C Yuvaraju.
