On Independence Day, a fresh poster of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan as the iconic character Senapathy was released for the movie "Indian 2". In the poster, Kamal Haasan appears resolute, hinting that his character, a freedom fighter turned vigilante, is back to punish wrongdoers. This marks the return of Senapathy 25 years after the original film "Indian" (1996) where the character made a promise to come back if needed. The filming for "Indian 2" is complete, with post-production currently underway. The movie boasts a star-studded cast, including Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and many more. Late actors Nedumudi Venu and Vivekh will also be seen in the film.
