Amaravati: The YSRCP's stance on the ongoing construction in Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam, changed within a day. Initially, on Saturday night, they stated that the secretariat was being built there. However, due to criticism, they retracted their statement and issued a new tweet on Sunday morning. "Our official Twitter account mistakenly mentioned in yesterday's tweet that the construction of the Secretariat on Rushikonda is underway. As of Sunday morning, we clarify that the state government is carrying out construction through the tourism department," YSRCP explained. The Saturday night tweet read, "To foster development in Uttarandhra, Jagan has declared Visakha as the administrative capital and is constructing a secretariat in Rushikonda. TDP's negative propaganda on this is evident. It appears the party opposes Uttarandhra's progress." It's worth noting that YCP deleted the Saturday night tweet.
