Adilabad: Adivasi women attacked Kodapa Sonerao, BJP leader and Adilabad District President of Kollam Seva Sangam, after he defended inappropriate remarks made by Adilabad MP Soyam Bapurao. The incident occurred at Kumram Bheem Chowk in Adilabad, followed by an argument in a hotel where Sonerao was confronted in Gondi language. They confronted him, grabbing his shirt, and subsequently detained him at the Adilabad Two Town Police Station. Following the incident, a police complaint was reportedly lodged against Sonerao for his disrespectful treatment of the tribal women. The incident created chaos in the locale.
