He defended Chiranjeevi's statements, noting that the government should focus on important matters such as state development, job creation, and reducing poverty, rather than targeting the film industry. Chiranjeevi specifically highlighted concerns like Special Status, project development, and road construction that need attention. Lokesh also criticized YSRCP leaders for their alleged negative remarks against Chiranjeevi.
