His statements were made during his visit to the Gundlakamma project in Prakasham district as part of the Yuddhabheri program. Addressing a public gathering, the TDP Chief criticized the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) government, led by CM Jagan, and asserted that the people of the state have resolved to defeat Chief Minister YS Jagan in the upcoming elections.
