Telugu Desam Party Chief, Chandrababu Naidu, has expressed concerns over the state's governance, implying that its misfortunes began when an "uneducated" person assumed the role of Chief Minister. Highlighting the irrigation projects in the joint Nellore district, the former Chief Minister Chandrababu pointed out the challenges faced by people due to the current irrigation policies. He emphasized that connecting rivers within the state would resolve water issues. Proper water management, he added, could also boost cultivation. Chandrababu expressed his frustration over the halt in the Somashila Kandaleru project, attributing it to unpaid bills to the contractor.
