Hyderabad: Congress MLA Seethakka voiced her frustration over the poor conduct of Telangana Assembly meetings by the government. She criticized the biased allocation of time, where ruling party MLAs receive ample opportunity for praise, while opposition MLAs are denied adequate time to address important issues. Seethakka expressed concern about the lack of transparency in the assembly proceedings and decided to boycott the meetings in protest of the Speaker's refusal to let the opposition speak. During the meetings, Seethakka was dismayed that her attempts to address crucial matters were ignored, and even during the "zero hour," opposition members were allegedly silenced. Despite being encouraged to voice their constituents' concerns, they were not granted the opportunity to speak or use the microphone. Seethakka also accused the BRS (ruling party) of suppressing opposition voices in the Legislative Assembly. She pointed out instances of misleading statements by BRS leaders, citing examples like Mission Bhagiratha water supply claims conflicting with the establishment of water plants
