The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has plans to shift his base to the Visakhapatnam Camp office beginning October 24, recent reports indicate. The construction work for the camp office, situated at Rushikonda, has reportedly just been wrapped up. Following the completion of the main structural work, the focus is now on interior design and finishing touches. In order to keep track of these ongoing efforts, officials from the Chief Minister's Office, along with the project contractors, recently visited the soon-to-be camp office. In addition to the CM's office, a number of apartments are being built nearby for high-ranking officials. Moreover, an outpost for the Andhra Pradesh Special Police Battalion will soon be operational near the construction site. Security personnel for the Chief Minister have also examined the site to ensure the Chief Minister's safety measures are in place.
