In a case about a remark on the 'Modi surname', the Supreme Court today paused the guilty verdict against Rahul Gandhi, a leader in the Congress party. The Court did say that his comments weren't appropriate, especially for someone in the public eye. The Supreme Court stated today that Rahul Gandhi should have been more thoughtful when giving speeches. They also said that disqualifying someone doesn't only affect the individual but also the voters. Rahul Gandhi 's lawyer said earlier in court that this is his final opportunity before he's cleared. This decision allows him to attend Parliament and run in elections. The lawyer also mentioned that the High Court has been thinking about its decision for 66 days. During this time, Gandhi has missed two sessions of Parliament because of his guilty verdict.
