On Friday, the Supreme Court decided not to take up the petition that the Andhra Pradesh Government submitted. The government wanted to move a case involving Margadarsi Chit Fund Private Ltd (MCFPL) and others from the Telangana High Court to the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The Supreme Court suggested that the lawyers working for the Andhra Pradesh Government should present their arguments to the Telangana High Court instead. After listening to both sides, Justices JK Maheswari and KV Viswanath decided that they did not need to start the trial over because it's already happening. Moreover, the Supreme Court decided not to change the Telangana High Court's decisions about business leader Cherukuri Ramoji Rao and his daughter-in-law Ch Sailaja Kiran. The Telangana High Court will continue to handle this case based on the facts, the Justices said. The Supreme Court also told the lawyers to come back to them only after the Telangana High Court has made its final decisions.
