Following the issuance of a Red alert for eight districts in Telangana, the weather department has now extended Red alerts to six districts in Andhra Pradesh as well. Additionally, other districts in Andhra Pradesh are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall. The ongoing Monsoon season, coupled with low pressure, has put North Andhra districts and South Odisha on alert for moderate to heavy rains. The state of Andhra Pradesh is set to witness rainfall for the next three days.
