Renigunta: In a heart-stopping incident on Friday, a young girl named Sai Yasashwini was rescued from a precarious situation at Renigunta railway station. While playing near the first platform, her head accidentally became trapped between steel pillars, leaving her crying for help. Thanks to the timely response of the government railway police (GRP) and the railway station staff, the situation was brought under control swiftly. Despite her parents' efforts to free her, they were unable to bend the steel pillars, necessitating assistance. Working together with railway officials, the authorities brought in a skilled welder who carefully cut the pillars without causing any harm to the child. After an intense rescue operation lasting approximately one-and-a-half hours, the young girl was safely reunited with her relieved parents.
