Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Telangana, the Congress party has taken a significant step by forming a 26-member Election Committee in the state. The committee will be led by A. Revanth Reddy, the state unit chief of Congress. This decision has been approved by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, and the committee's formation will have immediate effect.
