In a recent statement, Rajya Sabha Member R. Krishnaiah expressed his concerns over the state of government schools and urged Chief Minister K.C.R and Minister K.T.R to take immediate action. Highlighting the commendable efforts of Himanshu, Krishnaiah emphasized the need for the government to follow suit and prioritize the development of these educational institutions. The Commissioner of School Education's office in Hyderabad witnessed a significant gathering of unemployed individuals, along with Krishnaiah, who demanded the immediate issuance of a "TET" notification to fill vacant teaching positions. With approximately 44,000 teaching posts currently unfilled in government schools, Krishnaiah stressed the urgency of addressing this critical issue. Krishnaiah went on to accuse the government of shutting down schools due to a lack of teachers, resulting in a decline in student enrollment. He warned that if the Department of School Education fails to issue a statement within the next 45 days, they will intensify the protests.
