Hyderabad: Justice Alok Aradhe has been recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium as the new Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court. The appointment is expected to receive Presidential assent on Thursday. Currently serving as a judge in the Karnataka High Court, Justice Aradhe will fill the vacancy left by the elevation of Justice Ujjal Bhuyan to the Supreme Court. Justice Aradhe brings over 13 years of experience in dispensing justice, having served in the High Courts of Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka. The collegium expressed confidence in his capabilities and recommended him for the position of Chief Justice.
