At the event, Mr. Fadnavis met a young woman with disabilities. He was deeply moved by her courage and determination. The young woman was sitting on the floor, and Fadnavis joined her there. She then took a "tilak" (a mark worn usually on the forehead, used in religious or celebratory events) from a plate using her toe and placed it in front of Mr. Fadnavis. She then performed an "arati" (a Hindu ritual of worship) for him.
