New Delhi: In a shocking incident on June 24, a delivery agent and his associate were held at gunpoint by a group of unidentified assailants inside the Pragati Maidan Tunnel, resulting in the theft of an estimated Rs 1.5 to Rs 2 lakh in cash. Delhi Police swiftly registered a case and is actively working towards apprehending the culprits involved. According to police reports, the incident occurred as the victims were en route to Gurugram in a cab to deliver the money. The Pragati Maidan Tunnel, spanning 1.5 km, serves as a vital link connecting New Delhi with Sarai Kale Khan and Noida. The entire episode was captured on CCTV, providing crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation. Reacting to the viral video of the incident, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed his concerns and called for the resignation of Lt Governor VK Saxena.
