The Andhra Pradesh High Court has issued an order regarding the custodial torture of Narsapuram MP RaghuramaKrishna Raju, instructing that reports on the incident from May 15 and 16, 2021, be submitted to the court at Guntur Government Hospital. The court emphasized that these reports must be preserved and presented in a sealed cover. MP Raghurama filed a petition before the vacation court seeking these reports, with Advocate V V Lakshminarayana arguing on his behalf. Both the high court and the petitioner's counsel expressed strong objections to the counter statement. In response, the High Court directed the doctors at Guntur Government Hospital to provide a report on RaghuramaKrishna Raju's custodial torture, as per the directions of the CID court judge. The bench inquired about the availability of reports from the cardiology, general medicine, and radiology departments, to which the government's counsel confirmed their existence. The court ordered that these reports be submitted to the court in a sealed cover the
