Haryana: Wrestler Sakshi Malik declared on Saturday that the wrestlers would abstain from participating in the upcoming Asian Games unless their grievances were adequately addressed. Speaking to reporters in Sonipat, Malik highlighted the emotional and mental challenges faced by the wrestlers on a daily basis, emphasizing the lack of understanding surrounding their plight. The 30-year-old athlete arrived in Sonipat to join the Mahapanchayat, a significant meeting organized to address the demands of wrestlers calling for the resignation of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. It is known that Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the outgoing president of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), has been facing allegations of sexual harassment.
