In a horrifying incident on the national highway at Komarthi in Narsannapeta mandal of Srikakulam district, an RTC bus overturned after its front wheel steering end broke, leading to a loss of control. The bus was en route from Srikakulam to Pathapatnam when the accident occurred. Remarkably, all 17 passengers, including 10 women, the driver, and the conductor, managed to survive the harrowing ordeal. While four individuals sustained serious injuries, the rest of the passengers experienced only minor injuries. The conductor of the bus suffered a fractured hand. Mandal officials swiftly responded to the situation, rushing to the accident site to evaluate the circumstances and provide necessary assistance.
