Hyderabad/Chennai - Senior actor Sarath Babu passed away on Monday at a private hospital in Hyderabad, following a battle with health issues. The funeral ceremony of the beloved veteran actor concluded on Tuesday in Chennai, surrounded by grief-stricken family members and well-wishers. The last rites were solemnly performed at the Gundi Industrial Estate Crematorium in Chennai. Sarath Babu, who had been undergoing treatment at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad, was subsequently shifted to his residence in Chennai. As news of his demise spread, film personalities and fans gathered at his residence in T. Nagar to pay their respects. Prominent figures from the film industry, including actor Rajinikanth and actress Suhasini, offered floral tributes to the departed actor. Sarath Kumar and Radhika also paid their respects during this somber occasion. Following the homage paid at his residence, Sarath Babu's mortal remains were transported to the Gundi Industrial Estate crematorium, where the last rites were conducted.
