Protests have erupted across the state of Andhra Pradesh as Telugu youth leaders and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders express their dissatisfaction with the YSRCP government's decision on job allocation. Demonstrations took place in Guntur, Nellore, Anantapur district's Kalyanadurgam, and Satyasai district's Hindupur, with the Telugu Nadu Students Federation (TNSF) and TDP leading the charge. Protesters demanded that the government provide jobs based on their educational qualifications, rejecting the idea of being employed at fish and meat shops. In a symbolic display of dissent, youth leaders in Kalyanadurg staged a variety protest by selling fish and cutting chickens. They chanted slogans against the government and criticized its policies. TDP leader Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy accused the YSRCP government of neglecting the employment needs of young people. TDP leaders also claimed that marijuana has become easily accessible across the state, leading to social unrest. They blamed the YSRCP government for allegedly promoting the sale of narcotics and demanded a change in leadership.
