Thursday, according to officials. The incident occurred due to a technical fault, resulting in the death of a technician and injuries to two pilots on board. The crash took place in the Marwah area of the hill district. The pilots had alerted the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) about the technical fault and were attempting a precautionary landing when the crash occurred, as per official sources. The injured pilots were immediately evacuated to the command hospital in Udhampur for medical treatment. However, unfortunately, the technician on board the helicopter succumbed to their injuries. Defence sources have reported that the pilots are in a stable condition. An inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the incident.
