Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat, along with other top grapplers, has been staging a protest at Jantar Mantar against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief and a BJP MP. The wrestlers are demanding the arrest of Singh, who has been accused of sexual harassment. Phogat, a prominent figure in the protest, stated that it is challenging to take a stand against a powerful person who has been misusing their power and position for an extended period. She also criticized Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur for not taking action and instead forming a committee to suppress the matter. On April 26th, the wrestlers held a candle march at Jantar Mantar, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to listen to their "Mann Ki Baat." For the past six days, the wrestlers have been sleeping and training at the protest site near Jantar Mantar in the national capital.
