Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar met with actor Junior NTR on Tuesday to invite him to the unveiling of a 54-foot-tall statue of the founder and former chief minister of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), N.T. Rama Rao, in Khammam on May 28th. The statue is being installed at the Lakaram Tank Bund in Khammam at a cost of Rs 2.3 crore to commemorate the late N.T. Rama Rao's birth centenary. The statue, which includes a 10-foot basement, is a joint effort of the TANA, industrialists, businessmen, and NRIs who donated funds for its installation. Transport Minister Ajay, who is also a TDP member, expressed that he met with Junior NTR to discuss the preparations being made for the unveiling of the statue.
