Officials announced on Friday that an inquiry committee has been formed to investigate allegations of misbehavior made by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu's mother against a doctor. According to the complaint, the chief minister's mother and two relatives visited Nadaun Civil Hospital on April 9, where the doctor on duty allegedly did not behave properly with her. After seeking a reply from the doctor, he stated that he was unaware of the patient's identity and had only requested the family members accompanying the patient to wear masks. The inquiry committee has been formed following the doctor's response, and a report is expected to be submitted soon, according to Hamirpur Chief Medical Officer R K Agnihotri. He added that a thorough investigation would be conducted to ensure that patients do not face any difficulties in hospitals.
