New Delhi: Delhi Public School (DPS) in Mathura Road received an email threatening a bomb attack on Tuesday morning, resulting in the authorities clearing the school premises. The Delhi Police conducted a thorough search of the school but found no suspicious object or explosive device. The authorities summoned bomb squad officials and ambulances to the scene in addition to the police. The school authorities immediately contacted the police after receiving the threat at approximately 8:10 am. This is not the first instance of a Delhi school receiving a bomb threat. Earlier this month, 'The Indian School' in Delhi's Sadiq Nagar received a similar threat, resulting in the evacuation of the premises. The police and other agencies inspected the premises and declared the threat a hoax.
