Hyderabad: A terrifying video has emerged on social media of a tiger attacking cattle in the human habitat. Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda shared the clip on Twitter, which shows the big cat chasing a group of cows in an open field. The tiger catches a calf, but it escapes from its grasp after mother cow confronts the wild cat. In an unexpected turn of events, a mother cow then stands up to the tiger, and the big cat appears to be frightened and quickly retreats. This incident highlights the ever-present danger of human-animal conflict and the importance of conservation efforts to ensure the safety of both humans and wildlife. Susanta Nanda tweeted as "India now has 75% of world’s wild tigers, numbering around 3200. It will reach it’s carrying capacity soon, until we are obsessed with numbers & make them pests in human dominated habitats."
