The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit in Kerala has received a letter claiming a threat to the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his scheduled two-day visit to the state. As a result, the state has been put on high alert in preparation for the visit. The letter, received on April 17 at the BJP's Kerala office, included the identity of the sender and other information, and threatened a suicide attack on the PM during his visit to Kochi on April 24. Kerala state party president K. Surendran has handed over the threat letter to the police. He also expressed concern about a recent intelligence report from the Kerala Police, which noted the presence of terrorist and anti-national forces in the state. He questioned whether the timing of the report was related to the PM's visit or something else entirely. Authorities are taking the threat seriously and are taking necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of the
