Twitter has launched its long-awaited paid subscription service, which includes an $8 fee for a blue verification badge on the microblogging site. As a result, those who have not paid for the service have lost their coveted blue checkmark. One of the prominent figures who lost their blue tick on Twitter is Bollywood veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. However, he claims that he has already paid for the blue tick subscription service, and it appears that Twitter has made a mistake. Bachchan took to Twitter on Friday and humorously requested that the Elon Musk-owned social media platform return his checkmark, which he called the "neel kamal." He also claimed to have paid for the service and pleaded with folded hands for the blue tick to be restored next to his name. "Hello Twitter brother, are you listening. I have paid the money. Can you now put the blue lotus back next to my name," Bachchan wrote on Twitter in Awadhi.
