Suneetha Reddy has lodged an appeal with the Supreme Court against the interim order of the Telangana High Court, which stayed the arrest of Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the murder case of her father, the late Andhra Pradesh Minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy. Suneetha Reddy filed the petition in the highest court to challenge the Telangana High Court's directive to the CBI to refrain from detaining Avinash Reddy until April 25. The court is expected to hear the plea on Thursday. Earlier, Suneetha Reddy intervened in the anticipatory bail plea that Avinash Reddy filed in the High Court. She opposed his request for pre-arrest bail, as the CBI had summoned him for further investigation into the case.
