The safety and security of the players, staff, and spectators at the upcoming TATA IPL 2023 matches is of utmost importance to the Rachakonda police. In order to ensure a secure environment, the police have put in place elaborate security arrangements at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal. According to Rachakonda Police Commissioner DS Chauhan, the security measures will involve deploying 1,500 policemen from various wings of Telangana police. In addition to this, 340 surveillance cameras will be installed to keep a watchful eye on the stadium and its surroundings. Furthermore, anti-sabotage checks will be conducted on a regular basis to ensure that no unwanted elements enter the premises. A joint command and control room has also been established to closely monitor all the CCTV footage and take immediate action in case of any suspicious activity. With uninterrupted anti-sabotage checks until the completion of each match, the police are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the safety of everyone
