The Supreme Court made some significant progress in the ongoing investigation into the murder case of YS Viveka today. The court issued a set of important orders, including a deadline of April 30 for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to conclude the investigation into the case. The court emphasized the importance of uncovering the wider conspiracy angle and noted that it had already directed a speedy investigation in the matter. The CBI submitted a report to the court, which prompted the court to approve the formation of a new Special Investigation Team (SIT) to handle the investigation. The new SIT will be headed by CBI DIG K R Chaurasia and comprise of other officers, including SP Vikas Singh, Additional SP Mukesh Kumar, Inspectors S Sreemati and Naveen Punia, and Sub-Inspector Ankit Yadav. The court informed that the present investigating officer, Ram Singh, has been removed from the investigation. Additionally, the Supreme Court rejected Tulasamma's plea seeking bail for her
